How to fail at behavioral interview

  1. Do not look up company values / leadership principles.
  2. Do not prepare, instead try to answer all questions on the fly. Or memorize responses for questions and repeat them line by line during an interview.
  3. Don’t be organized, never use STAR, instead just ramble for 10 mins straight for every question.
  4. Lie about your contribution / impact.
  5. Don’t ask any questions to the interviewer. Or ask questions that do not really tell you anything about your future team / org e.g. what is the pay? or how is the free food?
